Advice on value for money, cost in use and building maintenance /
renewals.

Advice on availability of grant aid and assistance in grant applications.

Advice on appointment of other consultants if required.

Advice on capital allowance.

Advice on V.A.T. liability.

Advice on cost effectiveness of design and specification (Value
Engineering).

Cash flow forecasting.

Preparation of Bills of Quantities/Specs/Schedules of Work/ Employer’s Requirements as appropriate for the invitation of tenders or negotiation with selected construction company.

 Preparing quantities for Contractors at tender stage and construction stage for the UK and International Markets, either in accordance SMM7, NRM or Australian RM as required, and formatted for immediate import into
“Conquest”

·            Advice on selection of Form of Contract and programming matters
highlighting potential problems before they occur.

 Preparation and overseeing signing of Contract Documents.

Measurement and valuation of variations/change orders.

Preparation of valuations of work done for stage payments to
contractors.

Preparation of financial statements detailing current state of works
including a detailed list of cost adjustments and a comparison of actual
progress with forecast.

Advice on any delays, should they occur, and their likely financial
implications.

Negotiating and agreeing final accounts with contractors.
